Format Disk on MS Windows 10
1. We can use search -> cmd.exe -> run as administrator -> format /? to check manual of format as follow
format.exe supported filesystems are FAT, FAT32, exFAT(FAT64), NTFS, UDF, ReFS
If your portable Disk is mounted at F:, your can use instruction as follow
C:\WINDOWS\system32\format F: /FS:ReFS /V:Portable /I:enable /X /P:1
2. format with GUI
right click and choose format(A)...
you can disable quick format to wipe wholly but take much time
3. format with control.exe -> system and security -> system administration tool -> disk manager-> right click on F: disk -> choose format
